About Zack

I am a Ph.D. Candidate of Sociology at the University of Connecticut, where I completed my M.A. in 2018. I completed my B.A. at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

In Fall 2022, I joined the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at The College of New Jersey as a Teacher-Scholar Fellow. In this position, I collaborate across social science departments to develop a student-centered, active learning-based Introduction to Statistics for Social Scientists course.

I am a social stratification researcher whose substantive interests intersect with public policy, economic sociology, and urban sociology. Methodologically, I employ quantitative and computational techniques. You can find more information about my teaching and research on this site.
